Silver Pantry is a boutique catering service based on the Northern Beaches of Sydney founded by Nick Tassone. Nick began his love of food at the age of 13 on a family trip to Italy. He witnessed how proud they were in each dish they prepared and how food brought everyone together.
Nick started his career at age 16 and has gained experience from all over the world working in every area of hospitality, from fine dining restaurants in Vancouver to cocktail bar tending for Jamie Oliver in London. Nicks loves a challenge and experimenting with new ingredients and cooking methods. Nick believes “food is a mirror”as the saying goes, you are what you eat, the better you eat, the better you feel that’s why at Silver Pantry we try to use Free Range and Organic products when possible.
Silver Pantry always have the customer in mind therefore the menu options are constantly updated to keep up with current trends. Nick has spent time working out diet specific meals. Nick is an advocate for slow food and believes that food shouldn’t be rushed, time and care is paramount in the sourcing, preparation and cooking of ingredients.
